Chickasaw Nation Summer EBT is now available Apply Today!

Families with children receiving free or reduced school meals may qualify for free food this summer. The Chickasaw Nation Nutrition Services is now accepting applications for the Summer EBT for Children program. To apply, click Apply Online. To apply over the phone, call the Chickasaw Nation SEBTC at (580) 272-1178 or (844) 256-3467 (8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday). This federally funded program is available to anyone; you do not have to be American Indian to qualify. Qualifying families will receive approximately $30 of free food per child per month for May, June and July. Benefits are on an EBT card (works like a debit card) that allows you to purchase healthy food for the summer. Participation in this program will have no impact on other government assistance that you and your child receive. Information provided by you on the consent form or any records obtained for this program will be kept confidential as required by law and will be used only for this project. Once approved, Summer EBT cards will be mailed to the address you provided along with a list of participating stores and a food card (shopping list) that will help you identify approved food items. Call Chickasaw Nation SEBTC at (580) 272-1178 or (844) 256-3467 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday with questions. ELIGIBILITY Enrolled in a participating school district in grades Pre-K – 12th grade Receive free or reduced meals at school* *Free and reduced meal programs offered by schools operating Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) may have additional criteria to qualify based on the school’s identified student percentage (ISP). All School Notification:

We are extending our food donation deadline to Monday, November 23rd at 12:00 pm. As an incentive, we will be giving a $25 gift card to the student that brings the most donated items. There is a collection box at the front door to the school, donations accepted 8-3 pm daily.

Tannehill Public Schools Covid-19 Safety Guidelines and Protocols for Athletic Events

  • All patrons must have a Mask or face covering and be temperature checked before being allowed to enter the facility.  Refusal to wear a mask or covering will prevent admittance into the facility.

  • All patrons are to exercise social distancing procedures and sit in designated seating areas. Due to this protocol, seating may be limited in certain venues. 

  • Parents/Family of 3rd/4th Grade players are encouraged to leave after your students' games unless you have 5th/6th Grade players as well. Parents/Family of 5th/6th Grade players wait to enter until 5th/6th grade game time unless you have a 3/4th Grade player playing. 

  • Tannehill Public School will inform the visiting school 48 hours prior to a contest regarding seating. Opposing teams will have a set number of seats and tickets will be required to enter.    

  • locker rooms will be limited to only essential staff and players. The district also prohibits congregating outside or around the locker room area.

  • All Coaches, Players, and essential staff will wear face coverings up until the time they take the floor or playing field.

  • All gate workers and concession stand staff at Tannehill will wear masks at all times. 

As we navigate through these uncertain times during the COVID-19 pandemic, we would like you to know that the health and safety of all student-athletes, coaches, staff, officials, administrators, parents, and patrons is our top priority.
