SCHOOL COUNSELOR

 

 

The school counselor is a member of the teaching team.  The coun­selor is concerned for the welfare of the child, instructional goals of the teachers, and communication between home, school, and the community.

 

Student referrals to the school counselor are made by the princi­pal and teachers.  Parents wishing a conference may contact the counselor from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. each school day.  Students may make arrangements to visit the counselor through their homeroom teachers.
