We have been in contact with the McAlester water department and city planning office, and they are scheduled to shut the water off tomorrow, Jan. 13th for at least 6- 8 hours beginning at 8am, therefore Tannehill Schools will be closed tomorrow. We are unable to have in-person school without the guarantee that we will have working water for the cafeteria, drinking, and proper restroom operation and remain within County and State Health Codes. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but as always student safety is our first priority. We plan to be back Wednesday, January 14th at regular times. I will be in touch if anything changes. Your student will be given some virtual work  so we can continue classes.
