Attention Parents:

Tannehill Public Schools will be providing meal service to all virtual students and siblings of our students (ages 3-18) that live in the Tannehill district while the pandemic continues. Please let us know if you will be needing meal service and we can put you on the list. Meals can be picked up at the school or sent with your Tannehill student. You can be added at any time, just let the office know. Call the Tannehill School office at (918) 423-6393.

The Basketball Tournament scheduled at Pittsburg has been canceled.

National Book Month & Book Exchange

We are encouraging students to bring paperback books from home that they have already read & they wish to exchange. For each book that a child brings, he/she will receive a ticket (if they bring 2 books, they receive 2 tickets, 3 books get 3 tickets, etc.) No money is needed in this exchange, only gently used paperbacks and tickets. Please bring books on Tuesday-Thursday, October 20-22 and turn them into Ms. Anita in the library. The book exchange will be Friday, October 23rd.

Chickasaw Nation Summer EBT is now available Apply Today!

Families with children receiving free or reduced school meals may qualify for free food this summer. The Chickasaw Nation Nutrition Services is now accepting applications for the Summer EBT for Children program. To apply, click Apply Online. To apply over the phone, call the Chickasaw Nation SEBTC at (580) 272-1178 or (844) 256-3467 (8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday). This federally funded program is available to anyone; you do not have to be American Indian to qualify. Qualifying families will receive approximately $30 of free food per child per month for May, June and July. Benefits are on an EBT card (works like a debit card) that allows you to purchase healthy food for the summer. Participation in this program will have no impact on other government assistance that you and your child receive. Information provided by you on the consent form or any records obtained for this program will be kept confidential as required by law and will be used only for this project. Once approved, Summer EBT cards will be mailed to the address you provided along with a list of participating stores and a food card (shopping list) that will help you identify approved food items. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, we will not be able to have our traditional Halloween Carnival this year. We will still have our basket fundraisers and sell raffle tickets (raffle ticket packages are listed below) to determine what class wins the yearbook King and Queen/Prince and Princess/Duke and Duchess contests. WINNERS ARE CHOSEN BASED ON CLASS SALES. The class who sells the most will get a pizza party. We have 3 categories this year. All ticket proceeds go toward the students' activity fund.

Tannehill Public Schools Covid-19 Safety Guidelines and Protocols for Athletic Events

  • All patrons must have a Mask or face covering and be temperature checked before being allowed to enter the facility.  Refusal to wear a mask or covering will prevent admittance into the facility.

  • All patrons are to exercise social distancing procedures and sit in designated seating areas. Due to this protocol, seating may be limited in certain venues. 

  • Parents/Family of 3rd/4th Grade players are encouraged to leave after your students' games unless you have 5th/6th Grade players as well. Parents/Family of 5th/6th Grade players wait to enter until 5th/6th grade game time unless you have a 3/4th Grade player playing. 

  • Tannehill Public School will inform the visiting school 48 hours prior to a contest regarding seating. Opposing teams will have a set number of seats and tickets will be required to enter.    

  • locker rooms will be limited to only essential staff and players. The district also prohibits congregating outside or around the locker room area.

  • All Coaches, Players, and essential staff will wear face coverings up until the time they take the floor or playing field.

  • All gate workers and concession stand staff at Tannehill will wear masks at all times. 

As we navigate through these uncertain times during the COVID-19 pandemic, we would like you to know that the health and safety of all student-athletes, coaches, staff, officials, administrators, parents, and patrons is our top priority.
